Welcome to Deenya. By accessing our website, joining our WhatsApp community, or attending our events, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

To join Deenya, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be legally single (never married, divorced, or widowed) and genuinely seeking marriage.
  • Be a practising Muslim residing in the United Kingdom.
  • Agree to abide by our Community Guidelines and Islamic principles of interaction.

2. Community Membership

Membership to the Deenya WhatsApp community is currently free. However, we reserve the right to review, accept, or reject any application at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to remove any member from the community without notice if they violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

3. Profile Accuracy

When submitting a profile to Deenya, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself. You must not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity. Providing false information (including marital status, age, or using misleading photographs) will result in immediate removal from the community.

4. Events and Ticketing

Deenya hosts both free and paid events. For ticketed events:

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance via our official payment links.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by Deenya.
  • Deenya reserves the right to refuse entry to any event if a member violates our guidelines or behaves inappropriately.
  • Members attend events at their own risk. Deenya is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during our events (e.g., during nature hikes).

5. Interactions Between Members

Deenya facilitates introductions between single Muslims. However, we do not conduct formal background checks or criminal record checks on our members. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members. We strongly advise you to exercise caution, involve your Wali early in the process, and use your best judgment when meeting someone for the first time.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Deenya website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Deenya or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Deenya after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
